Common HGH Peptides in Layman’s Terms Infographic

Common HGH Peptides in Layman’s Terms Infographic – An infographic by Peptide Life. Understanding the different kinds of growth hormone peptides can be very confusing. This infographic is meant to be simple and straightforward about the peptide facts. We also provides simple recommendations about peptide dosage and warnings about side effects

GHRP-2:
  • GHRP-2 is the abbreviation for Growth Hormone Releasing Hexapeptide – 2
  • Discovered over 20 years ago
  • Peptide influences the hypothalamus and pituitary gland to produce more GH output
  • Boosts human growth hormone output more than other GHRP
  • Side effects include moderately increase levels of prolactin, cortisol and aldosterone hormones
  • Needs to be taken on empty stomach 1 to 3 times daily
  • Weight loss or gain dependent on diet
  • Best used in combination with Mod GRF 1-29/CJC-1295 Peptides
GHRP 6:
  • Abbreviation for Growth Hormone Releasing Hexapeptide – 6
  • Newer version of GHRP-2
  • Boosts growth hormone output
  • Causes slight short-term elevation of prolactin and cortisol
  • Recommend to dose 1 to 3 times daily
  • Recommended 1 mcg/kg of bodyweight
  • Extreme hunger reported from some users. Good for bulking cycles
  • Best used in combination with mod GRF (1-29)/CJC-1295
Ipamorelin:
  • Newest version of growth hormone releasing peptides
  • Ipamorelin is a penta-peptide (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2) in contrasts to GHRPs which are hexapeptides
  • Boosts growth hormone to a milder degree compared to older GHRPs
  • Lesser or no hormone spikes (such as cortisol/prolactin) with usage
  • Studies have shown that Ipamorelin doesn’t impact cartilage and bone density
  • Average dosing is 1 to 3 times daily at 1mcg per kg of body weight
  • Safer to take at large doses than other GH peptides
  • Effective if used before bedtime
  • Best used in combination with mod GRF (1-29)/CJC-1295
Hexarelin:
  • The most potent of the GHRP’s in regards to GH release
  • Has a longer half life in comparison to other GHRPs
  • Negative side effects such as increased cortisol/prolactin
CJC-1295:
  • A tetrasubstituted 30-amino acid peptide hormone created by Canadian company ConjuChem
  • Contains DAC with stands for a drug affinity complex that increases half life from minutes to days
  • Creates more of “growth hormone bleed” instead of GH pulsing
Mod GRF (1-29):
  • Abbreviation for modified growth hormone releasing factor 1-29
  • Originally called tetrasubstitued GRF (1-29) later coined Mod GRF (1-29) by researcher known as DatBtrue
  • Also known by the pharmaceutical name Sermorelin
  • Unlike CJC-1295 Mod GRF does not contain the drug affinity complex. It has a much shorter half life, but causes a much larger “spike” in growth hormone
  • When used in combination with any GHRP it can cause a much larger growth hormone spike
  • Improves sleep patterns
Melanotan 2:
  • Allows users to tan faster and darker than normal
  • Basically causes increased pigment and increased melanin without sunlight/tanning beds
  • Accelerates tanning with minimal sunlight/tanning booth exposure
  • Recommend to take 250-500 mcg several times a week and then once a week to maintain a desired tan
  • May enhance sex drive
  • May cause temporary nausea (diphenhydramine is recommended to alleviate symptoms)
Fragment 176-191:
  • A peptide that is a “fragment” of the 191 amino chain that makes up a growth hormone
  • Can increase the body’s ability to release fat as energy
  • Recommended to be taken 3 to 5 times daily at doses from 200mcg up to 500 mcg
  • Usually does not provide any other GH benefits besides fat loss
  • Does not show GH side effects such as insulin resistance
PT-141:
  • Derived section from Melanotan that spikes libido
  • Most effective dose is 1mg taken 3 to 4 hours prior to a sexual event
  • Benefits include strong random erections and sexual desire for men
  • Female users report increased arousal and more intense orgasms
  • Some users report temporary nausea similar to Melanotan 2 usage
Thymosin Beta 4:
  • Increases strength and endurance, reduces inflammation and speeds up healing.
  • Recommended to initially dose 4-5mg a week in two applications and then 4-5mg a month
IGF DES:
  • Faster acting IGF
  • Reportedly the most anabolic version of IGF
  • User will feel a slight insulin-like effect
  • Lean mass gains are seen when used preworkout at 50-100mcg daily
  • DES (1-3) igf-1 is a shortened form of IGF. It has reduced the ability of binding proteins to render the IGF inactive, making IGF DES much more anabolic

IGF1 Long R3:
  • IGF is the primary hormone that high GH levels elevates
  • IGF LR3 has a 20-30 hour half life
  • Usual dosing is 50-100mcg daily, pre or post workout
  • Effects are quicker recovery and increased lean mass gains
  • Often used to assist in injury repair

MGF:
  • Similar to IGF peptide in nature and function
  • Helps repair muscle tissues and speeds up cell growth
  • Typical dosing is 50-100mcg per day
PEG-MGF:
  • Process of pegylation extends the half-life from less than 30 minutes for regular MGF to several days
  • Increases muscle mass and tissue repair just as MGF does
Snap 8:
  • Anti wrinkle/anti aging cosmetic peptide
  • Cheaper, safer alternative to botulinum toxin (botox)
  • Snap 8 is peptide chain instead of a poison like botox
  • Can be used to remove deep lines/wrinkles via gel application
  • Results last up to 60 days

Selank:

  • Helps patients with anxiety disorder
  • Beneficial without the side effects of typically used benzodiazepines (depressants) such as Diazepam (Valium) and Alprazolam (Xanax) which are drowsiness, loss of concentration, loss of coordination of movement
  • Even in high doses does not seem to be harmful
  • Can suppress fear and anxieties as well as stimulate memory and reduce stress
